Project for Developing AI-Based Instructional Design Competency among Faculty Members of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute
(implemented in cooperation between SamDPI and Dongguk University of the Republic of Korea)

“Capacity Building Project for AI-based Instructional Design Competency among Faculty Members of Samdpi”

3. Grant program:
The project is funded by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Korea within the framework of Korea’s ODA-based Global Education Support Program.
4. Project duration:
From May 1, 2025 to January 31, 2025 (9 months)
5. Main objectives of the project:
To enhance SamDPI faculty members’ instructional design skills using Generative Artificial Intelligence and EdTech tools, as well as to establish a sustainable digital education ecosystem.
6. Main project activities:
- Assessing the level of faculty members’ use of AI and EdTech tools
- Developing a customized training program on AI and prompt engineering
- Creating AI-based instructional design templates and methodological guidelines
- Digitalizing training outcomes and uploading them to an online platform
- Establishing an online learning community
- Translating all materials into Uzbek, Russian, and English
7. Expected outcomes:
- SamDPI faculty members will be able to independently develop lesson plans using AI and EdTech tools
- Training materials will be integrated into SamDPI academic programs
- Educational cooperation between Korea and Uzbekistan will be strengthened
- The developed model will be implemented in other Central Asian countries
8. Financial support:
The project is fully funded by the Republic of Korea. Funding covers transportation, accommodation, training materials, appreciation gifts, and administrative expenses.

70,000,000 KRW (fully funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea)
