Duties
The Youth Union of Uzbekistan is a non-profit organization formed by individuals in the organizational and legal form of the Union in order to form a physically healthy, spiritually mature and intellectually developed, independent-minded young generation, protect young people from external threats and harmful effects of “mass culture”, provide comprehensive assistance and create conditions for protecting the rights and legitimate interests of young people. The main tasks of the union include:
• the formation of young people who think competently, independently, have their own life position and strict beliefs, are able to occupy a worthy place in the life of society, become a decisive force and support in the processes of reforming the country, renewal, raise their political culture, legal literacy and legal consciousness;
* to educate young people, in particular unorganized youth, spiritually-morally and in the spirit of military patriotism, to form in them feelings of historical memory, national pride and self-awareness, immunity to the events taking place, respect for national and universal values;
* protection of the rights and legitimate interests of young people, support their aspiration to master modern professions • involvement in entrepreneurial activities;
• support talented young people, create conditions for them to realize their creative and intellectual potential, and engage in scientific activities;
• healthy lifestyle among young people, in particular unorganized youth, the formation of an ecological culture, their wide involvement in physical education and regular sports;
• to protect young people, in particular unorganized youth, from the influence of religious-extremist and other destructive organizations, from negative influences and threats coming from abroad under the guise of “mass culture”, to promote the prevention and Prevention of offenses and crime among young people, etc. Legal entities and individuals can join the union based on the regulation established by the Charter. That is,citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who have expressed a desire to support the goal of the Union, who have reached the age of 14 and are no more than 30 years old, and stateless individuals who regularly live in the Republic of Uzbekistan can become members of the Union. At the same time, non-profit organizations in the youth sphere and enterprises, institutions and organizations related to the youth sphere, as well as other legal entities whose constituent documents do not contradict the statutory goals, objectives and program documents of the Union may also join the Union.
The Union's governing bodies include:
* Congress;
• Central Council;
• Central Council Executive Committee;
• Central control-inspection commission.
The structure of the Union, which includes:
• Central apparatus of the Union;
* Territorial structures of the Union;
• Local structures of the Union;
* Union startup organizations;
• Enterprises, organizations and institutions in or under the full foundation of the Union, including the media.
Also, under the Union and its separate units, the “Rainbow” branch is established, which operates in the direction of children, respectively. They are a branch of the Union and its individual branches.
