Duties
The Uzbek-Finnish Institute was established on the basis of the trade union committee, the Republican council of the Trade union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan, the charter and structure of the university and operates on the basis of a collective agreement with the employer.
A collective agreement was signed between the university management and the trade union committee aimed at ensuring the social, economic and legal interests of the team members. The fulfillment of these points of the collective agreement was systematically monitored.
The composition of the trade union Committee:

The Conference is the highest body of the trade union committee and is held every five years.

The Trade Union Committee is the governing body between conferences and is elected for a five-year term.

The conference elects the chairman of the trade union committee, deputy chairmen, members of the committee and the Presidium, as well as members of the audit commission.

Employees of the trade union committee participate in ensuring the execution of decisions of the Presidium, the plenum and the Presidium of the conference.

The financing of the trade union committee is formed by monthly membership fees.

Membership fees are set at least 1% of the monthly salary.
The main goals and objectives of the trade union Committee:

The main purpose of the trade union is to protect the labor, socio-economic, spiritual, cultural, intellectual rights and interests of trade union members and the rights of their family members.

The main activities of the trade union committee:

Participation of members of the trade union committee in the development of legal and other normative acts on the protection of mental rights and freedoms;

Implementation of collective control over labor legislation;

Conclusion of collective agreements and elimination of disagreements in employment;

Strengthening the social protection of trade union committee members;

Conducting cultural and educational events together with members of the trade union committee;

Carrying out work to restore the health of members of the trade union committee and their loved ones (parent, spouse and child), involvement in physical education and sports;

The Trade Union Committee cooperates and establishes international relations with public and non-governmental organizations, trade unions of foreign countries.
