History of the Department
The Department of Computer Science at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute was established on September 4, 2024. Today, the department employs 2 foreign professors, 5 associate professors (dotsent), 2 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), 2 senior lecturers, and 6 teachers. The department maintains extensive cooperation with several prestigious foreign higher education institutions and professors, with further agreements currently in the planning stages.
To date, the department’s faculty has produced over 20 textbooks, study guides, lecture notes, and manuals. Additionally, they have published more than 10 monographs, 20 scientific pamphlets, 20 scientific collections, nearly 500 scientific articles, and over 100 popular science articles.
