70610105 – The master’s program in “Information Technologies in Education” is implemented in the form of full-time education based on the National Qualifications Framework, professional standards, and the requirements and needs of employers. Teaching in the master’s program is organized on the basis of a credit-module system. The standard duration of the master’s program is 2 years. The volume of the master’s curriculum, regardless of the form of education (full-time) and the educational technologies used, is 120 credit units.
The volume of the master’s educational program for one academic year is 60 credits.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 24, 2024, PF-81, studying in the master’s program 70610105 – “Information Technologies in Education” requires at least a national certificate of level B2 or an equivalent international certificate.
This specialty includes teaching information technology subjects in higher education institutions, institutions of professional development and retraining, general secondary schools, as well as professional education institutions. In addition, it covers research activities at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sectoral research institutes (ITI), the Research Institute of Information Technologies and Pedagogy in Education (ITM), as well as organizations, centers, and scientific-production associations, and is associated with solving complex problems in the fields of pedagogy and information technologies.
