• Organization of scientific works based on state educational standards and provision of training of qualified personnel;
• Ensuring that all deans and departments, heads of departments and pedagogues are fully aware of the set of requirements for the content of knowledge and the level of training in accordance with state educational standards;
• Organizing the implementation of the orders, decrees and instructions of the higher organisations, decisions of the scientific council of the instituty and orders of the rector on issues related to scientific processes;
• To study the development trends of the educational system of advanced countries, methods and tools for the implementation of the tasks specified in the Law "On Education", "National Program of Personnel Training" and other laws related to education and ensuring their implementation;
• Organization of the introduction of advanced forms of teaching, including distance learning, new pedagogical and information and communication technologies and their effective use in the educational process;
• Preparation of proposals and organization of work in the field of activity;
• Coordination, organization and control of the work of departments, deaneries, scientific laboratories, scientific teams that ensure the process of scientific research;
• Approving work plans of departments, faculties and chairs, scientific laboratories in the field of scientific research and monitoring their implementation;
• Improving the quality of scientific research works, monitoring and ensuring the fulfillment of personal plans of professors and teachers;
• Organizing educational and scientific conferences, leading the work of the scientific and technical council of the instituty, summarizing advanced scientific and methodological experiences;
• The process of preparation and publication of scientific works materials, including journals and collections of scientific works by the instituty staff, as well as replenishing the library fund with scientific periodicals in all areas of educational and scientific activity of the instituty and conduct general management;
• Managing and assisting the processes of searching for, selecting and working with gifted young people, managing the process of preparing prestigious scholarship winners of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Navoi, Beruniy, Ulugbek, Zulfiya and others from among students and interns-researchers;
• Development of proposals for the staffing of professors and teachers and staff supporting scientific research work, organization of providing departments, chairs and scientific laboratories with qualified personnel;
• Recruitment for vacant positions on the basis of competition, preparation of proposals for hiring doctoral students, independent researchers and masters, development and implementation of plans for improvement of the teaching staff;
• Effective use of scientific laboratories, development of issues of improvement of technical equipment of laboratories;
•Taking action against employees who violate executive discipline, preparing proposals for termination of contracts with them;
• In order to improve the content of scientific research and education, to ensure the training of specialists based on international requirements, to prepare proposals for the organization of scientific research works in cooperation with prestigious scientific centers of foreign countries and similar higher education institutions;
• Conducting annual activity reports of departments, faculties and chairs, analyzing and drawing conclusions, evaluating scientific activity of professors and teachers using modern methods;
• To carry out permanent cooperation with higher educational institutions in the scientific field, to ensure the active participation of professors and teachers in conferences and seminars, to work in cooperation with local authorities;
• Determine, analyze and improve the instituty's annual rating in accordance with the established procedure;
• Active participation in regular internal attestation of the instituty, preparation and transfer to external attestation.
