Duties

     Basic rules.

  •  The Press Secretary is an independent structural department of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) of the Samara State University and reports directly to the director of the Institute. The Press Secretary is responsible for compliance with the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “on openness of state authorities” and other laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and this Regulation.
  • The Press Secretary will work in close cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, departments of the Institute and other relevant services of state authorities and management.
  • The main tasks and functions of the press secretary

     The main duties of the press secretary are:
Participate in the formation and implementation of the information policy established by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the management of the Institute in accordance with modern requirements;
Ensuring effective and practical interaction with the information services of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, other state and economic bodies in the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of information; objectively, qualitatively and timely inform the general public about the activities of the institute, its provisions in the field of;
Interaction with mass media (hereinafter referred to as mass media), formation of a circle of journalists working on a permanent basis, distribution of news (press releases, newsletters, etc.), organization of mass events;
Prompt placement and timely updating of information on the official website of the Institute, development of web resources on the Internet, including in social and mobile networks;
Monitoring and analysis of the information space, preparation of proposals with experts on the types, methods and levels of response to them, organization of comprehensive work on the dissemination of materials in the media, including on the Internet;
Preparation of news, information materials, reviews and information and analytical materials for distribution in domestic and foreign media together with other departments of the Institute;
Analyze the state of public opinion and the position of domestic and foreign media on the activities of the Department and inform the rector of the Institute about them;
Formation and maintenance of a database of text, photo, audio and video materials related to the field of activity of the Institute.
To fulfill the assigned tasks, the Press Secretary performs the following functions:
Publishes (publishes) information in the mass media, including on the Internet, as well as places and updates them on official websites, in accessible premises and places;
Organizes and conducts mass events, including events with the participation of the heads of the Institute (meetings, meetings, meetings, press conferences, briefings, seminars, round tables, etc.);
Provides information to mass media and journalists orally and in writing (including in electronic form) upon request;
Collects the information necessary for the effective solution of tasks in cooperation with other departments of the Institute and carefully works on them;
Provides organization and maintenance of the Institute's website;
Participates in the preparation and installation of TV programs, commercials and films, ensures their archiving in order to store these materials in accordance with the established procedure;
Prepares photo, audio and video materials about the activities of the Institute and cooperates in their preparation with state and non-state media;
Provides the formation and maintenance of a database of photo, audio and video materials related to the activities of the Institute.
The Press Secretary, within the limits of his authority, considers appeals and requests from national news agencies and mass media for assistance in the preparation of materials on the activities of the University.
Rights and duties of the Press Secretary The Press Secretary has the following rights to perform the tasks and functions assigned to him:

Request information from other departments of the Institute, departmental organizations in accordance with the established procedure to fulfill the duties and functions of the press secretary;
Attend meetings, conferences and other events of the Institute;
Involve employees of other departments of the department in coordination with the head of the Institute, as well as specialists and qualified specialists of other organizations, including on a contractual basis;
Interact with the information services of other universities in accordance with the established procedure;
Representation of the Institute on behalf of the Institute on issues of national importance in state bodies on behalf of the management;
Publication of publications within its competence;
Submit proposals for improving the information policy of the Institute, draft regulations on its activities to the management for consideration. Press Secretary: Quality and timeliness of assigned tasks;
Responsible for ensuring impartial, high-quality and timely coverage of the Institute's activities in the national media.
Organization of the Press Secretary's work

The Press secretary is appointed and dismissed by the Director of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University. The activities of the press secretary are organized on the basis of a work plan approved by the Director of the Institute. The Press secretary reports directly to the Director of the Institute.
