About the press secretary of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute
Chapter 1 general rules
The Press Secretary is an independent department of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University (here in after referred to as the Institute) and reports directly to the Director of the Institute.
The Press Secretary is responsible for the implementation of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On transparency of public authorities" and other laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Resolves resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and this Provision.
The Press Secretary works in close cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, departments of the institute and other relevant services of public authorities.
Chapter 2
The main tasks and functions of the press secretary The main responsibilities of the press secretary are:
Participate in the formulation and implementation of information policy set by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and the management of the institute in accordance with modern requirements;
Ensuring effective and practical cooperation with the information services of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, other state and economic bodies in the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of information;
to inform the general public about the activities of the institute, its regulations in the field in an objective, high-quality and timely manner;
Interaction with the mass media (here in after referred to as the mass media), the formation of a circle of journalists working on a regular basis, the distribution of news (press releases, newsletters, etc.), the organization of public events;
Prompt posting and timely updating of information on the official website of the Institute, development of web resources on the Internet, including social and mobile networks;
Monitoring and analysis of the information space, preparation of proposals with experts on the types, methods and levels of response to them, the organization of complex work on the distribution of materials in the media, including the Internet;
Preparation of news, information materials, reviews and information-analytical materials for distribution in national and foreign media together with other departments of the Institute;
Analyze the state of public opinion and the position of national and foreign media on the activities of the Office and inform the rector of the institute about them;
Formation and maintenance of a database of text, photo, audio and video materials related to the field of activity of the Institute.
The Press Secretary performs the following functions to perform the assigned tasks: Publishes (publishes) information in the media, including the Internet, as well as places and updates them on official websites, in accessible rooms and places; Organizes and conducts public events, including events with the participation of the heads of the institute (meetings, gatherings, meetings, press conferences, briefings, seminars, roundtables, etc.); Provides information to the media and journalists orally and in writing (including in electronic form) upon request; Gathers the information necessary for the effective solution of the tasks in cooperation with other departments of the institute and works on them carefully; Provides the organization and maintenance of the website of the Institute; Participates in the preparation and editing of television programs, commercials and films, and ensures their archiving in order to store these materials in the prescribed manner; Prepares photo, audio and video materials on the activities of the Institute and cooperates with state and non-state media in their preparation; Provides the formation and maintenance of a database of photos, audio and video materials related to the activities of the Institute. The Press Secretary, within the scope of his / her authority, reviews applications and requests from national news agencies and the media to assist in the preparation of materials on the activities of the University.
Chapter 3 Rights and Responsibilities of the Press Secretary
The Press Secretary has the following rights to perform the tasks and functions assigned to him: Request information from other departments of the institute, departmental organizations in the prescribed manner to perform the duties and functions of the press secretary; Attend meetings, conferences and other events of the Institute; Involve staff of other departments of the department in coordination with the head of the institute, as well as specialists and qualified experts from other organizations, including on a contract basis; Interact with the information services of other universities in the prescribed manner; Representing the Institute on behalf of the Institute in matters of national importance in government agencies on behalf of the management; Publishing publications within its competence; Submit proposals for improving the information policy of the Institute, draft regulations on its activities for consideration by management. Press Secretary: The quality and timeliness of the tasks set; Responsible for ensuring objective, high-quality and timely coverage of the Institute's activities in the national media. Chapter 4 Organizing the activities of the press secretary The press secretary is appointed and dismissed by the rector of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University.
