Duties
On August 29, 1997, Uzbekistan adopted the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Education” and the “National Education Program”, designed to bring education to the level of world standards. According to this legislation, since 1999, master's programs have been opened at the second stage of education in a number of leading higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the training of masters has begun. By the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 30, 2021 No. 408, the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University was established. The institute has 14 specialties of the master's program in the basics of undergraduate studies:

  Currently, 143 undergraduates are studying in the first year of the institute. Experienced professors and lecturers of the Institute are involved in teaching special subjects and defending Ph.D. theses in 14 specialties. In addition, special attention is paid to attracting undergraduates to research work, working on master's theses on topical issues, active participation in conferences, and publishing scientific articles based on research results.
Tasks of the Master's Department:
  • Coordination of the activities of the Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute of Samarkand State University with responsible departments and deans;
  • Ensuring compliance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on education, decrees of the President, orders, resolutions, resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, resolutions of the Collegium, orders, instructions, modemograms and telephone messages of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, as well as orders of the director at faculties, departments and departments . bringing to graduate students the content of decrees and resolutions adopted by the President and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
  • Development of the necessary regulatory and legal documents for master's specialties, their continuous improvement based on the requirements and proposals of staff customers;
  • Conclusion and implementation of agreements on mutually beneficial cooperation with the Institute between enterprises, organizations, private enterprises and firms;
  • Coordination and control of the master's activities of all departments of the institute;
  • Assist in the organization and implementation of the learning process in the magistracy;
  • Quality control of education and training of postgraduate students; 
  • Control over the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to teachers involved in pedagogical activities in the magistracy, increasing their social, professional and personal activity; 
  • Systematic analysis of the current situation in the magistracy, identification of problem situations, determination of priorities for the development of the magistracy;
  • Regular monitoring of the future employment of masters;
  • Control over the activities of masters in the preparation of scientific, pedagogical, research and master's theses in accordance with the calendar work plan of masters in accordance with the Regulations "On the master's degree";
  • Analyze the issues of master's training and provide regular reporting on them.
  • Ensuring the effective organization of IGA testing and defense of master's theses.
