Further work aimed at ensuring the implementation of the Decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 19, 2021 "On measures to bring the activities of popularization of learning foreign languages to a qualitatively new level in the Republic of Uzbekistan" was carried out.
A new English classroom with a modern look and equipped with all the necessary equipment was put into use at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Humanities of the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute.
In this classroom, professors, staff and students of the institute can learn foreign languages thoroughly, develop basic language skills based on videos, games, entertainment shows, films and other educational content. it was reported that the classes will be conducted by qualified teachers.
Rector of the institute A.Safarov reiterated that by the academic year 2024/2025, 50 percent of teachers of professional subjects (except foreign languages) working in state higher education institutions should have at least B2 level national or equivalent international certificate. once pointed out. In this regard, he explained the necessary tasks to vice-rectors, faculty deans and department heads. He also gave instructions to the relevant officials to gradually adapt other classrooms to modern requirements.
