An artistic and literary evening was organized at the Samarkand State Institute of Pedagogy on the occasion of “Youth Day” with the participation of People’s Poet of Uzbekistan Khosiyat Bobomurodova and Guljamol Asqarova, recipient of the “Shuhrat” medal and a poetess known for vividly expressing the ideas of love, freedom, and liberty in her poetry.
The meeting became a spiritually rich and creative platform for young aspiring poets, literature enthusiasts, and students.
At the beginning of the event, the guests officially opened the “Center for Spiritual Excellence,” established on the initiative of the institute’s rector, Shahzoda Negmatova. The center holds special significance in enriching the spiritual world of students and supporting their moral and psychological development.
Afterwards, a creative meeting with the poetesses was held. During the event, sincere opinions and reflections were shared about the place of Khosiyat Bobomurodova and Guljamol Asqarova in modern Uzbek poetry, their literary works, and their mastery in artistically portraying human emotions and life realities.
As part of the evening, the presentation of Guljamol Asqarova’s new poetry collection titled “Dance on the Ember” was held. Warm remarks were also expressed about the selected poems included in the book. Students impressively recited poems glorifying the Motherland, love, loyalty, and kindness.
At the end of the literary evening, active students and talented pupils of the institute’s academic lyceum were awarded certificates of appreciation by the rector of the institute.
This event serves to further strengthen young people’s love for poetry, national literature, and spiritual values.
