A solemn graduation ceremony "Graduate-2026" was organized at Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute under the motto "Today's Graduate — Builder of the Future."
The event was attended by the Minister of Preschool and School Education Ezoza Karimova, Deputy Khokim of Samarkand Region Khusan Tukhtaev, and Rector of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute Shahzoda Negmatova, who congratulated the graduates on achieving an important milestone in their lives — the successful completion of higher education. The speakers emphasized the role of the teaching profession in the development of society, the responsibility of young specialists in raising the future generation, and wished them success in their future endeavors.
The solemn event was attended by Farmon Toshev, Chief Editor of the "Zarafshon" and "Samarkandskiy Vestnik" newspapers, Rustam Yuldashev, Head of the Preschool and School Education Department of Samarkand Region, institute professors and teachers, graduates, their parents, education specialists, media representatives, and members of the general public.
During the event, the graduates took the teacher's oath, pledging commitment to the high values of the pedagogical profession, providing quality education and upbringing to students, and conscientiously fulfilling their professional duties.
Diplomas were solemnly presented to graduates who successfully completed their bachelor's and master's degrees. This year, over 3,000 students graduated from Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute across bachelor's and master's programs. The graduates were wished great success in their future pedagogical, scientific, and professional activities.
As part of the ceremony, heads of partner educational institutions actively contributing to the education system were also duly recognized. In particular, heads of general education schools No. 32, 33, 68 and preschool education organizations No. 64 and 87, which regularly cooperate with the institute, were awarded certificates of appreciation on behalf of the Minister of Preschool and School Education for their services in effectively organizing the "4+2" internship system and supporting student interns.
Additionally, parents of talented graduates who achieved high results in their studies and community activities were awarded certificates of appreciation by the rector of the institute, acknowledging their contribution to their children's education and development.
The event continued with artistic performances and a concert program. Graduates, parents, and guests captured unforgettable moments at specially organized photo zones.
