General management of the activities and employees of the faculty dean's office

• Ensuring the training of qualified specialist personnel at the faculty, direct supervision of educational-methodological, scientific, spiritual-educational work, ensuring the implementation of state educational standards, curricula, educational programs;

• Organization of drawing up schedules of educational activities and control of implementation, monitoring of students' learning and attendance, rating control, organization of disciplinary control;

• Preparation of draft orders on transfer of students from course to course;

• Preparation of a presentation on the granting of scholarships to students;

 • Organization of students' defense of graduation qualification works and their participation in state certification;

• Searching for gifted students, identifying them and organizing individual, targeted work activities with them, preparing them to participate in science Olympiads, competitions of various foundations (including foreign ones);

• Coordination of training of interns-researchers, professional development of professors-teachers;

 • Coordination and management of the preparation of textbooks, educational and methodological manuals related to the educational directions within the faculty;

 • To ensure wide application of new information technologies in the educational process, acquisition of new information technologies by professors and teachers;

• Management of the activity of the scientific council of the faculty;

• Organisation and conducting of scientific and methodological conferences, interdepartmental meetings, seminars, dialogues (discussions) with the participation of faculty professors and students on current topics (including news and issues of scientific and technical development in their field, issues of economic and social development of the country, etc.) ;

• In cooperation with the marketing service of the higher education institution, to study the current and future demand for specialties prepared at the faculty, to establish contacts with organizations, enterprises, and institutions that require specialists, to arrange employment opportunities for graduates (targeted contracts), to give practical recommendations;

 • Establishing cooperative relations with neighboring higher and secondary special educational institutions and scientific institutions, including developed foreign countries;

 • Organization of independent provision of additional educational services at the faculty level (separate "Center" with its own account number, "Course", etc.), attracting grants, investments, ensuring the active participation of faculty professors and students;

• Organization of educative activities in student residences;

• Review appeals within the scope of authority;

• Improving and controlling the use of the HEMIS system;

• Personal responsibility for the HEMIS system and module;

• Compliance with the requirements of labor protection, safety equipment and production sanitation;

• Comply with the job description.

 Must know:

• To know the laws related to the Faculty's activity, the Decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Council Decisions of the Ministry, the decrees, the orders of the rector of the Higher Education Institution, to know the annual and prospective plans of the Higher Education Institution;

 Qualification requirements:

• Professional and organizational skills required for a management position in higher education institutions, leadership experience and seniority in the field of education, relevant knowledge and skills within the scope of activity and authority;
• Possessing exemplary personal qualities - intelligence, culture, leadership, creative abilities, politeness, organization, initiative and entrepreneurial abilities, a sense of responsibility, independent decision-making and decisive action, ensuring the achievement of the strategic goals of the institution;

• Having a doctor of science degree or a candidate's degree, a professor's or associate professor's academic title in one of the directions and specialties of bachelor's and master's training at the Higher Education Institution;

 • It is necessary to have at least 5 years of effective work experience in the field of the faculty.
