Chemistry

 The Department of Chemistry of  Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute was established by the decision No. 9 of the Institute Council dated June 23, 2023.  Today, a total of 22 professors and teachers are working in the department.  17 of them are in the main staff, two are internal substitutes, three are external substitutes, and one foreign specialist is imparting knowledge and skills to students.  1 of the teaching staff is a professor, 4 are associate professors, 8 are candidates of science and doctors of philosophy.  Currently, the department has extensive cooperation with higher education institutions and professors, such as Kemirova State University of the Russian Federation, Atirau Oil and Gas Institute of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Afyon Kuchatepe University of Turkey.

 Until today, the teachers of the department have created more than 60 textbooks, educational manuals, text of lectures, educational-methodical manuals, collections and instructions, as well as more than 7 monographs, about 400 scientific and theses have been published.  In particular, in 2024, 3 textbooks, 3 educational manuals, 6 methodical manuals, 3 monographs, 10 articles in the Scopus database, and about 30 articles in the international and national HAC databases were published.

 In 2024, two of  professor-teachers of the department, E.S. Khusanov and I.A. Eliboev, defended their doctor of philosophy scientific works and received PhD degrees.

 In the department, 2 scientific clubs "Young Chemists" and "Let's learn chemistry" have been established, and more than 40 students are participating in them.Gifted students have been publishing more than 30 articles in international and national journals and scientific-practical conferences on the topics of scientific research conducted with their teachers.
