On March 26–27, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference titled “Improving the Higher Education System: Current Trends and Strategies” was held at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute at a high organizational level.
Along with representatives of higher education institutions of the republic, more than 50 prominent scholars, experts, and specialists from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and several other countries took part in this prestigious event.
Within the framework of the conference, scientifically grounded opinions and practical proposals were presented on key issues such as modernization of the higher education system, improving the quality of education, implementation of innovative approaches, and expansion of international cooperation.
On the second day, the conference continued in the form of sectional meetings, where participants thoroughly discussed challenges in their respective fields and put forward promising initiatives.
This international conference served as an important platform for further development of the higher education system, strengthening scientific collaboration, and exchanging best practices.
