Shahzoda Negmatova met with Professor Shafoaddin Deniz of the Institute of Turkological Studies at Istanbul University
During the meeting, the parties thoroughly discussed issues of further strengthening scientific cooperation. In particular, directions were identified for providing master’s students and undergraduates with scientific information and sources related to the struggle for power in Turkestan at the end of the 15th and beginning of the 16th century (the Timurid, Shaybanid, and Safavid periods).
During the discussion, views were exchanged on reliable historical sources, modern scientific literature, and promising research directions related to this historical period. In addition, practical proposals were put forward for young researchers, and important agreements were reached aimed at improving the effectiveness of scientific research.
