A seminar-training on anti-corruption civic initiatives was held at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute

Today, a seminar-training titled “Anti-Corruption Civic Initiatives: Media, Technologies, Participation in Lawmaking, and Gender Aspects of Corruption” was held at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute. The event was organized within the framework of an initiative announced in July 2025 by the Women and Girls Association of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the European Union, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

➡️ The event was attended by Nasiba Mirodilova (Head of the Women and Girls Association of Uzbekistan), Elbek Hidoyatov (Grants Coordinator of UNDP), Shoxrux Yunusov (UNDP project staff member), representatives of the institute’s administration, and students.

✅ During the seminar-training, students presented their startup projects aimed at combating corruption, followed by detailed discussions. Participants also exchanged views on the initiatives and ideas proposed during the event.
