🏟 A Modern Sports Ground Built for Youth
In order to ensure the implementation of the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ–245 dated July 28, 2023, “On measures to develop sports infrastructure in mahallas and organize the effective use of sports grounds,” the deputy of the Samarkand City Council of People’s Deputies and Rector of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, Shahzoda Negmatova, inspected the newly constructed mini-football sports ground on the institute’s campus.
➡️ During the visit, it was especially emphasized that this sports facility will serve not only students and faculty members of the institute, but also young people living in nearby neighborhoods, creating favorable conditions for regular sports activities and meaningful leisure time.
⚽ It was also noted that the new sports ground will contribute to promoting a healthy lifestyle, increasing physical activity among youth, and further developing mass sports.
📌 Reminder: The grand opening ceremony of the sports ground, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, will take place tomorrow — on May 7 at 10:00 a.m.
