On the occasion of May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honor, a spiritual and educational event titled “Memory is Eternal, Honor is Sacred” was organized at Samarqand davlat pedagogika instituti.
The event was attended by the Rector of the institute, Shahzoda Negmatova, who shared her thoughts on the historical significance of this date, the courage of our people, and the invaluable importance of peace.
During the event, students presented artistic performances dedicated to honoring the memory of our ancestors and glorifying their bravery and devotion. Honor ribbons were distributed to the participants.
In addition, memories of elderly people who endured the hardships of the war years were heard, and tree saplings were planted in memory of our ancestors.
