Memorial and Honour Day marked at SamDPI
On the occasion of May 9 — Memory and Honour Day, a spiritual and educational event titled “Memory is Eternal, Honour is Sacred” was held at the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute.
🎗 The event was attended by Shahzoda Negmatova, who shared her reflections on the historical significance of this date, the courage of our people, and the priceless value of peace.
During the event, artistic performances prepared by students were presented, highlighting the ideas of honoring ancestors and remembering their bravery and devotion. Participants were also presented with honorary ribbons.
In addition, memories of elderly witnesses who experienced the hardships of wartime were heard, and tree planting activities were organized in memory of the ancestors.
