International cooperation ties with one of Malaysia’s prestigious higher education institutions — Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka — are steadily strengthening.
In April of this year, a delegation from Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute visited UTeM, one of Malaysia’s leading technical universities. The university is recognized as Malaysia’s first technical public university and is widely acknowledged for its strong potential in engineering, information technologies, innovative research, and modern technological fields.
➡️ Within the framework of the Asian Women’s Forum 2026 — the II Asian Women’s Forum currently being held in Bukhara, a meeting took place between the Rector of the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, Professor Shahzoda Negmatova, and the leadership of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka.
During the dialogue, the parties discussed in detail the further expansion of international cooperation between the two higher education institutions, the launch of academic exchange programs, implementation of joint scientific projects, and the enhancement of international educational opportunities for students.
❗️It should be noted that an official practical visit of the leadership of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka to the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute is expected on May 16, 2026.
