The preparation process of student-athletes of the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute for the republican final stage of the “New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad” was reviewed.
Today, First Deputy Chairperson of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan Shahnoza Shavkatovna Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Otabek Muxammadalievich Umarov, and Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Adham Ilkhamovich Ikramov visited the Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute accompanied by Deputy Governor of Samarkand Region Khusan To‘xtayev.
The distinguished guests were welcomed by the Rector of the institute, Professor Shahzoda Negmatova, who provided detailed information on the ongoing efforts to develop sports at the institute, organize physical fitness assessment tests, further improve sports infrastructure, actively involve students in mass sports activities, and prepare the winners of the “New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad” for the republican final stage.
The rector also highlighted the participation and achievements of student-athletes in national and international competitions, as well as the systematic measures being implemented to support them and enhance their professional training.
