SamSPI Athletes Headed to the Final Stage of the “New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad”
Rector of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute, Shahzoda Negmatova, met with student-athletes who will participate in the republican final stage of the “New Uzbekistan Student Olympiad”, scheduled to be held from June 5 to 11, 2026, at the Olympic Town and organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports, and partner organizations.
During the meeting, the Rector wished the athletes success in the competitions and expressed confidence in their abilities and potential. On behalf of the institute, she also wished the teams outstanding results and victories.
A total of 36 student-athletes will represent the honor of Samarkand State Pedagogical Institute in the republican finals. They will compete in the following sports:
- Handball — 14 athletes
- Volleyball — 14 athletes
- Athletics — 8 athletes
