June 5 - World Environment Day
On the occasion of this date, a roundtable discussion was organized for the students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Uzbek-Finnish Pedagogical Institute in cooperation with the academic lyceum of the institute.
For information, this date was adopted on June 5, 1972 based on the resolution of the Conference on Environmental Protection held in Stockholm.
Since 1974, it has been widely organized, involving and uniting government, business, and civil society institutions to solve the most pressing environmental issues.
