30 state grants were allocated for young citizens living abroad
Applications from young compatriots who expressed their desire to study on the basis of a state grant in the fields of Uzbek language and literature, history, culture, art and crafts of state higher education institutions will be accepted by the relevant higher education institutions until October 20, 2024.
The following requirements are set for participation in the contests:
▪️ on the basis of identity documents, himself/herself or his/her parents or grandparents:
Being a foreign citizen or a stateless person who identifies himself/herself as an Uzbek or Karakalpak from an ethnic, linguistic, and cultural-historical point of view;
Being a foreign citizen or a stateless person who was born and resided in the territory of Uzbekistan, but is currently permanently residing abroad;
▪️ as a foreign citizen, having registered as an applicant for one of the above-mentioned bachelor's education courses and having been recommended for studentship according to the results of the interview;
▪️ must be under 30 years old;
▪️ must know the Uzbek language.
