At the conference, the deputy governors of the region, Rustam Qobilov and Husan To‘xtayev, the chief editors of the newspapers "Zarafshon" and "Samarkand Vedomosti," Farmon Toshev, the first vice-rector of the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute, Zarifa Mo‘minova, historians, scholars, and the grandson of the great enlightener Shohrukh Behbudi spoke about the life of Mahmudhoja Behbudi and his spiritual heritage left for future generations.

At the conference, Professor Komil Haydarov from the Uzbekistan-Finland Pedagogical Institute presented a report on "The Samarkand Enlightener," the institute’s teacher Mirzoulug‘bek Yusupov spoke on "Mahmudhoja Behbudi and Saidrizo Alizoda, Founders of the Jadid School," and the head of the history department, Yo‘ldosh Isomiddinov, gave a presentation on "The Social, Political, and Spiritual Environment in Turkestan in the Late 19th and Early 20th Centuries."
